Review sobre los Festivales de Aguas blancas en Chile. Este video contiene imagenes de tres distintos festivales de Aguas Blancas a lo Largo de Chile. Todos estos eventos tienen como intención promover la preservación de los ríos,incentivar el Turismo al igual que invitar a las personas a unirse a este maravilloso mundo del Agua Blanca. Cabe destacar que en el Río San Pedro se esta construyendo una represa, la cual consiste en un muro de 45 metros de altura, que va a inundar mas de 200 Hectareas de la cuenca del Río, por ende se podría decir que el Río San Pedro esta agonizando.

Actually the San Pedro River, is being dammed as you read this. The shots in the Intro, is the actual construction of this irreverseval atrocity. They are going to build a wall 45 meters High, and they´re gonna drown about 2.000 hcts of land.
So, it seems that this was the last year of the San Pedro River Festival, because this project is gooing to be be finished on the year 2012, although the By Pass of the river necesary to build the main wall is about to be finished.
Also, the community of Panguipulli, they`re has been 7 Hydroelectric Project on some on the most beautiful and pristine whitewaters of our country, for Example, the Fuy river under the sight of the damming.
So basically, all the beauty you´ve seen on this video is under danger of extinction.
